FAQs

All of Abound's Visa® Debit cards, Visa® Rewards and classic low-rate credit cards are available to use with Digital Wallets. You can learn more about our Visa credit cards HERE.
Abound's Visa® Debit cards and Credit cards are compatible and can be used with Apple Pay, Google Pay & Samsung Pay.
Because digital wallet is just another way for you to use your Abound debit and credit cards, all normal limits for debit and credit cards still apply. You can find additional information on limits by contacting us.
Digital wallets are a safer method of payment due to your card number not being shared at the time of a transaction. The wallet will send a random 16-digit number to the merchant/person you are paying in place of your card which lowers the risk of fraud occuring.

While we allow our cards to be used on the app, the Credit Union doesn't control the app or work with vendors unless it is an issue specific to our Credit Union (cards won't work in app, image is displaying incorrect, etc.). That specific Digital Wallet vendor would need to be contacted by the Member experiencing the issue for troubleshooting if the app itself is not working.

Anytime you are having an issue when adding a card to the app where it's unable to verify your identity, call us at 800.285.5669 and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Yes! You can receive a payment from someone. Then you can choose to store it in the digital wallet or have it transferred to your Abound account with just a few easy steps. You have an option to link your account by either routing/account number or card. This will allow you to transfer money from your wallet to your account in the event someone sends you money through the wallet.
Depending on the wallet you are using, you can choose a card to pay an eligible merchant in person by holding your phone near their digital payments enabled terminal, pay an eligible merchant online by selecting the wallet at checkout where available or by transferring money to a person using your text messaging app. Please note that not all wallets offer the same functionality, check with your provider for details.
