Abound Credit Union History
More Members, Same Commitment.
When the Credit Union opened in 1950, the Membership could fit into a small conference room. Ten founders, contributing $100 each and with no opportunity to profit directly, created a financial cooperative with the goal of helping people achieve more.
Today, we’ve grown to become Kentucky’s largest credit union with 18 locations and over 100,000 members. For 70 years, Abound has proudly stood beside you with valuable banking solutions that help military and hardworking Kentucky families thrive. It’s our unwavering belief that together we can do more.
Important Dates And Events
We've changed names a couple times. And added branches across a wide swath of Kentucky. We've grown into the largest credit union in the state and we're proud of that. We're even more focused on the future, as we look forward to finding even more ways to serve our loyal members.
