Call for Nominations: Supervisory Committee & Associate Board Member
Applications must be submitted by August 15, 2026
We’re calling on leaders to apply for nominations to our Supervisory Committee and Associate Board Member Program. Could this be you, our loyal Member?
Supervisory Committee Commitments:
- Two-year appointment to the Supervisory Committee
- Six meetings per year, in Radcliff, KY at Abound’s Main Office
The Supervisory Committee is appointed by the Board and acts as the financial watchdog for the Credit Union, ensuring that Members’ assets are safeguarded. The Committee acts independently of our Credit Union officials and must not interfere in daily operations or Credit Union transactions. Committee Members maintain an impartial and independent position and act within guidelines set by the Board and Federal Credit Union Act (FCUA). Supervisory Committee Members volunteer for about 100 to 200 hours per year.
Associate Board Member Commitments:
- One-year appointment in the Associate Board Member (ABM) Program
The Board of Directors established the Associate Board Member Program to educate promising candidates and prepare them for future Board positions. Associate Board Members are appointed by the Board of Directors but have no vote on policy matters. Like the Board Members, each Associate also spends about 100 to 400 hours annually on Credit Union efforts.
If you’re an active Member who is eager to make more possible in your community, we encourage you to apply for nomination!
